Nutrition Training & Diet Analysis

A personal dietary profile will help you:

  • Lose weight
  • Improve cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance, and muscle strength (when used with exercise)
  • Achieve and maintain optimal protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamin, and mineral levels

A nutritional analysis has several components:

  • A food and activity log
  • Personal consultations where you’ll receive customized reports on your progress
  • A nutrition manual to help you make choices and learn about key nutrition concepts

A key part of this program is a food and activity log which you will keep. Through nutritional analysis of your food log, you can learn to control what you eat and drink. People learn in many ways. Learning can be done with your eyes, hands, ears, nose, and through movement. For example, when you measure a cup of dry cereal, you learn what a cup of cereal looks like or what it feels like in the palm of your hand. Through the process of consistent and accurate measurement, you will come to understand food portions. This learning is vital in managing your food intake. With this knowledge, you control what you eat and drink versus going through life guessing and worrying if you are getting too much or too little nutritional elements in your day.

During our personal consultations, you will receive easy-to-understand customized reports in the form of pie and pyramid charts and bar graphs. The reports you receive are based upon your food and activity inventory forms. Also, I use the best nutritional software available in order to give the most accurate information and timely feedback.

You also will receive a nutrition manual for your reference when you are charting and modifying food intake. This manual contains information on important nutrients, suggested food servings, good food choices, and more. Of course, I am available to assist you through the analysis, charting, and learning process.

It is time to get started on your journey to better living through better nutrition! I look forward to hearing from you.
